You installed EveryCent in Stripe

One more step: give EveryCent the read-only key Stripe just created for it. It takes about a minute.

Copy the key Stripe just showed you

It starts with rk_live_, or rk_test_ in a sandbox. If you closed that screen, open Settings › Apps in your Stripe Dashboard, choose EveryCent, then View API keys.
Sign in to EveryCent, or create an account

You need to be an owner, admin or accountant of the company in EveryCent.

Open Accounting › Stripe Billing, paste the key and click Connect

EveryCent reads your subscriptions and shows you what it found. No ARR is recorded until you review it and confirm.

Stripe Billing is switched on per company. If you don’t see Accounting › Stripe Billing, email support@everycent.ai and we’ll turn it on for your company. We reply within 1 business day.

What EveryCent reads

EveryCent uses your Stripe data to calculate annual and monthly recurring revenue (ARR and MRR), by customer, net of ongoing discounts, with the subscriptions that renew next. It refreshes every night, or when you click Sync now. It reads only:

Your Stripe account’s ID, name and mode (live or test), once, when you connect
Subscriptions and the items on them
Invoices and invoice lines for those subscriptions
Prices, and the products they belong to
Coupons and discounts
The name and email of each customer with a subscription
Test clocks, in a sandbox only

EveryCent never changes anything in Stripe.

The key Stripe created for EveryCent can only read. EveryCent cannot create, change, refund or cancel anything in your Stripe account, and it never charges your customers.

How to disconnect or uninstall

In EveryCent: open Accounting › Stripe Billing and click Disconnect. EveryCent deletes the key at once and stops reading. The recurring-revenue history it already recorded stays in your books.
In Stripe: open Settings › Apps, choose EveryCent and click Uninstall. This removes EveryCent’s access to your Stripe account. The next time EveryCent tries to read it, Stripe refuses the key, and EveryCent deletes the key and shows Stripe as disconnected.
